What is the Ambassador Program?
As a BioTEC Ambassador, you will be responsible for promoting the conference and its year-round content at your respective post-secondary institution in order to reach a greater student audience.

Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to network with other passionate students across Canada on the BioTEC Executive team, and gain exclusive access to pre-conference content.
Ambassadors have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by building a BioTEC chapter at their post-secondary institute, as well as, plan and lead a BioTEC workshop at their university if they so choose
Requirements

Currently attending a post-secondary institution

Great communication and collaboration skills

Outreach and event planning experience
Responsibilities

Outreach to respective post-secondary professors, clubs, organizations, and newsletters (such as student council or organizational email newsletters) to promote BioTEC’s conference and original content through email, phone calls, meetings, and/or speaking engagements

Sharing BioTEC’s posts on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Attending ambassador training and strategy meetings

Get the chance to develop and lead campus-wide BioTEC workshops
